Diptychs and triptychs are seen simultaneously, not sequentially. It&#039;s up to the viewer to decide what part to look at and when. However, there&#039;s a technique I&#039;ve seen in movies and TV shows that would fit your word. It involves having different &quot;windows&quot; floating on the background &quot;screen&quot; and the windows have different videos running in them. Simultaneous, and at any given moment the viewer choses what to look at. Since video is by nature sequential, you&#039;d still make choices of what&#039;s shown at the same time, frames can contrast each other, or support each other by showing related images. I&#039;d be interested to see what you do with that technique.</description>
