Andre turns 1
You might remember the earlier pictures of Andre. We’re happy to report that he has turned one. The cake did not survive the encounter.
Brian, plus …
A friend of mine, Jennifer, has an adorable son named Brian. We wanted to get some fall shots of Brian with his family, and his cousins.
Jonathan and Tina + 3
I had the great opportunity to photograph this amazing family, with their kids. One of the highlights of a family session is getting each of the kids by themselves for a few dramatic shots. The kids love it, because they put the images on Facebook; they end up with the best shots amongst their friends!
Happy Halloween
A recent Halloween party at church was a great opportunity to get some really cute pictures. I set up a portable photography studio, and the kids came through.
Marcella – senior pictures
I went to college with Marcella’s mom – and hadn’t seen her for a number of years. We hooked up on Facebook – turns out she’s got a daughter who’s a senior in high school. (Find me on Facebook here.) Her daughter has the same sparking personality as her mom, with the slight flair for [...]
Shayna – senior pictures
I went to college with Shayna’s mom and dad – and we’ve been friends for years. Such great people – it’s not surprising they have a wonderful daughter, and when she became a senior in high school, I got the chance to photograph her senior pictures. Some people just shine in front of the lens. [...]
Caitlyn and Jamison
At Teresa and Jason’s wedding, the flower girl was adorable, and her brother was so cute. I had the chance to take the two of them aside and get some portraits. Such gorgeous children. Their mother tells me they are available and interested in modeling!
Teresa and Jason, Married!
Well, the day finally came. After months of preparation, countless emails, and an invasion of relatives, Jason and Teresa became husband and wife. The ceremony was gorgeous. The party – spectacular. These people know how to party. Props to Jack Bacorn of PHD Sound Systems for keeping the tunes flowing and the party rockin’.
Teresa and Jason
Teresa and Jason’s engagement shoot was a great time along Caroll Creek, in Frederick, MD. We finished just moments before the rain chased us out. Such fun people – we’re looking forward to the wedding!
Family Picnics
I’ve always thought that families should invite a professional photographer to their family picnics. Someone whose job it is to capture the moments,
Annapolis on the Fourth of July
I was asked by Emily Pettine, Miss Teen Maryland (http://www.emilypettine.com) to come and take pictures of her and Miss Maryland (Nicole Ortiz)
Adventures in Black
I’m loving the black. So classy. Thanks to Shari DeAngelo for letting me into her studio for these shots.
Harleys in the hood
I hesitate to call them “models” – but a couple of Harley Davidson riders wanted their pictures taken with their bikes.
Chris – Lacrosse player
So, a while back I had the pleasure of photographing Chris, the son of a friend of mine. He’s a lacrosse player,
VIDtychs – Swimming
You’ve heard of diptychs and triptychs? A diptych is a set of two photographs, side by side. The reasoning is that the two photographs together mean more artistically than the two photographs individually – a mini-story in two frames, or an association. The same reasoning applies for triptychs – a series of three photographs. A [...]

Maryland School for the Deaf Golf Tournament
Great day for golf. I don’t golf – but I’m delighted to take photos for the Foundation. The Foundation raises money for the school – because the school is state-funded, they cannot fundraise directly. The Foundation raises money on their behalf, then uses the money for equipment, scholarships, programs, etc.
