One of the highlights of a family session is getting each of the kids by themselves for a few dramatic shots. Xander invited his mom and dad to join his very first portrait session. I think Mom and Dad performed quite well, and Xander is pleased with the results.

I saw a photograph similar to this over at Studio 11 Photos, in Frederick.  I thought it was a great idea, tried it on a dark background, and a white background.  I like the white.comp3
